  The Zwally effect, explained to me by Jay Zwally

   My natural science articles have been mostly published in Nature and The Economist. They generally focus on biological, medical or environmental topics. Every so often I also contribute to Nature's specialist journals, and to The Lancet, for which I tend to focus on global health.

   Today I edit more than I write about natural science - in the main, I edit feature articles and whole supplements for Nature (such as the genome editing supplement, pictured). I've also worked as a website news editor for Nature and for BBC Future. I keep a full list of natural science items that I have authored, which can be accessed via the link below.
